Ed Sheeran– 14.03.15

Unlike an actual concert review, this is more like my recount of the whole thing. If you want to read my concert review go here . Shameless self-promotion, I know. Read it, don't read it, it's up to you, I don't run your life. I just want to say that Ed Sheeran is an amazing performer– he sounded so good live. Unlike The 1975 concert post (if you haven't read that, go read it if you got nothing else better to do) where my emotions were all over the place, my emotions were quite controlled this time round. And I only felt one emotion which was either content-ness (I know this is not an actual word) or happiness. I remember smiling a lot during the concert. Being a fan of Ed for almost 4 years, watching him perform live was one of the best feelings ever. I can't compare this concert to The 1975's because they are very two different musicians– other than the fact that one is a solo musician and the other is a band. Anyways, I wondered whether people, as in human beings like you and I, do good things for altruism's sake or do we do it so we would feel better about ourselves and/or for our own consciences' sake? I mean, the best would be for you to be doing it for altruism's sake because being altruistic is good. I really don't know I'm going with this but is it bad if we do good things just because we want to feel better about ourselves and/or so that we don't betray our own conscience in a sense? Just a thought.  - Gloria
